Should be forum better organized?
« on: November 16, 2012, 08:46:33 AM »
I believe that forum is not organized in the best way (well, I organized it, and I think that changing the structure could cause more harm than good, but for the future classes I definitely want some changes)

Any suggestions about board structure (remember, boards could be nested)?

Also I think about installing karma-log plug-in.

One thing which seems to me as if it would be quite helpful is to have a set of boards dedicated to discussing, clarifying, and asking questions on specific lectures- say for example a board for the Laplacian and lectures 21-25. Perhaps, in order to help highlight the overlap between the problem sets and specific lectures, each section of lectures could have two linked subsections- one for discussion of the problem set and one for the related lectures. This would help for review purposes especially, by specifically associating lectures with the kinds of problems typical of the material.
