Do we have to know Deformation Theorem for the test?

It's not in the textbook but was covered in lecture. Also, most of those questions can be solved using other tactics correct?

In my opinion I don't think we have to.
It's not in the textbook and according to the sample probelms that we don't have to use it for the test.

No, I don't think so either, as professor said, we need to know TT1+TT2+QUIZ7.  And Sample problems
