Help for sec.2.6 12
« on: September 29, 2020, 10:09:46 PM »
my solution for 12 is c=-1/(x^2+y^2)^(1/2)
However the answer from the textbook is x^2+y^2=c
Can I write c=-1/(x^2+y^2)^(1/2) as the answer?

Your answer is not wrong. But I think it's always better if we are able to simplify as much as possible.
