Hello,
I did not quite understand the reminder email sent by the prof. So i have a MAT235 exam in the evening at 6pm so I am not comfortable with the regular main time. So i preferred the morning time of 8am to 10am. In the email prof suggests us to change our vote to a larger group, but I won't prefer a later timing than the morning 8am to 10am. So i am confused as to what to do on the test day? Should i go to the 8am to 10am sitting or should i go for the time which has more votes?
Thank you.

I suggested that if you do not have strong preferences change you vote. If you have them––do nothing.
Originally I assumed that 16--18 will be the most popular choice and 12--14 the least popular time, so I suggested 16--18 as the first choice. Now it is demoted.
BTW, "I am not comfortable with the main sitting" is not a valid reason. "Overlapping" is.
