Looking at equation 6 and 7 is this coming from equations 17 and 18 from lecture 13? using $l=2\pi$? wouldn't $\lambda$ then be $(n/4)^2$ or am I misunderstanding something?

for the Laplace equation in half-strip where it says "with g(x)=0 we could reduce it by the method of continuation to the problem in the whole strip and solve it by Fourier transform" would that be using a Fourier transform with respect to y this time . . . if yes then would the fact that we would be using an odd continuation influence the answer compared to if we had $u_y|_{y=0}=0$ I don't see how this would influence the solution . . .

I think that where you state the Schrödinger equation in the beginning of lecture 21 'consider problem: . . .' it is supposed to be $u_t=iku_{xx}$ what is posted now doesn't have the $i$ and makes no sense with the subsequent solution . . .

I'm sorry to nit pick but as someone who is having a hard enough time following much of this material, I was wondering in the lines shown in the screen capture attached (the lead up to equation 39 is there an extra $i$ in the denominator of the first equation? I think this is supposed to be equal to the second term in the right side of equation 38 . . .

Just to clarify, I'm assuming that in the lead up to equation 25 it was meant to be $-|\xi|^{-1}e^{-|\xi|y}$ not $x$ and $i$  . . .

I was wondering, in lecture 23 in the explanation leading up to equation 11 it says that if considering outside the disk that we need to discard terms the are singular as r=0 is that supposed to be infinity?

I was wondering if for problem 5 if we have to show all the steps to getting answers or if we can simply apply the applicable formulae from lecture notes? (example can we simply use the D'Alembert formula?)

I feel like I understand what is being said here, but I am confused by the second set of lecture notes,  specifically equation (7) which seems to be doing the same thing as equation (4) in the reply to this post except with a + sign instead of a equal. Am I misunderstanding and these are actually different scenarios, or is one a misprint?
