Title: Proper typing
Post by: Victor Ivrii on October 27, 2018, 12:53:09 PM
In LaTeX  all "operators" (in LaTeX sense) must be printed upright and with a proper spacing around; to do so, their names are escaped
(some notations are not introduced as macros; one can introduce them but this is more advanced staff) (http://forum.math.toronto.edu/index.php?topic=818.0)

 * type produces Incorrect ln(sin x ) $ln (sin x)$ Correct \ln(\sin x) $\ln(\sin x)$
