Exact Equation
« on: February 12, 2018, 05:38:04 PM »
When choosing M and N, does it matter which equation we set M and N as?

For example: (2y-x)y' + (6x-y) = 0

  Can we set M = 2y-x or M = 6x-y and N = 6x-y or N = 2y-x ?

set M=6x-y and N=2y-x.
The general form of exact equation is M(x, y)+N(x, y)y'=0
